Instead of trying to carve out a little personal time during a packed conference or meeting, business travellers are rather adding on an extra day or a weekend so that they can enjoy the destination their way.
Some opt to make their bleisure days designated holiday time, while others stay on and keep working remotely while they fit in exploring the highlights that the destination has to offer them personally. Many bleisure travellers choose to fly in their partner or family so they can share the destination with their loved ones. All it takes is a little planning.
At Kruger Gate Hotel, our bleisure guests may have come to an onsite meeting or event, or they may have just been in the Kruger/Mombela area for business and chose to come relax with us.
What you can expect from a bleisure experience at Kruger Gate Hotel
- It’s easy to relax – After an intense business meeting or event, it’s natural to need a little time and space to decompress. Taking an extra day or a weekend in a beautiful, natural surrounding is the perfect way to reset. Whether you’re taking in the magnificence of Kruger on a game drive, visiting a nearby cultural village, relishing a spa treatment or lounging at the Pool Deck, you’ll feel refreshed and enlivened.
- It’s easy to work remotely, if you need to – Fast, free WI-FI and comfortable remote workspaces means that you can seamlessly blend work and pleasure. All our rooms include an ergonomic workstation but there are also other delightful options such as the laptop counter and plug-in stations on our Pool Deck, the pods on the Viewing Deck, the all-day coffee shop and the lounge and deck areas of the Shilovo Bar.
- It’s easy to dine well over an extended stay – Breakfasts at our Kudyela restaurant offer a wide range of choices every day, while our extensive dinner feast menus at the Lapa Restaurant rotate every five days. There are plenty of lunch and light meal options on our in-room dining menu, and to-go choices at the all-day coffee shop. A favourite with guests is the à la carte menu served at our Pool Bar, which includes freshly crafted wood-fired pizzas, salads and other gourmet fare.
- It’s easy to get around, and to fly in and out – our bleisure guests can hire a car from our reception if they choose, but many prefer to book our morning and afternoon guided game drives in open safari vehicles. We offer airport transfers to and from Kruger International Airport outside of White River, the nearby Skukuza Airport and the more northerly Hoedspruit Eastgate Airport. This makes it easy for your family or partner to fly in and join you for your well-deserved bleisure days.
