Dennoch sauber.

Thank you to the Kruger Gate Hotel for the extraordinary experience. They went out of their way to make our stay unforgettable. They did so much effort on my sister’s birthday. They’re always smiling, so friendly and helpful. The location is amazing, I love the pool that overlooks the river. We’ve seen hippos, antelopes and elephants while swimming. The food was beyond amazing. The buffet has a good variety of food options and is so much delicious food to choose from. Special thanks to Sarah for being so kind, welcoming and helpful. We will definitely be back.

Wonderful Hotel. The Luxury room was spacious and comfy !
Pool deck is so nice. Breakfast and Dinner are great as well.
I would also recommend this hotel for its location close to the gate which is very convenient.

This hotel has come a long way from the ancient Protea hotel with the dark and gloomy bedrooms to a high quality facility with good restaurant standard and beautifully appointed bedrooms. The immediate vicinity of the Paul Kruger Gate is a major asset.

We had given the trip to a friend for his birthday. We had booked a deluxe room. This category is a simple standard room, somewhat old-fashioned with small flaws such as chipped tiles in the bathroom etc. But the room was clean and we had not spent much time there. Our friend had a Luxury room and that was much better, spacious and modern and highly recommended.

The facility is very nicely laid out, the restaurants are both great, the food - both breakfast and dinner buffet - Great selection and top quality.

The staff is very friendly and helpful.

We had been promised a piece of cake with singing for our friend\'s birthday for dinner, which unfortunately did not work out.

The game drives are a bit chaotic in the morning. Unfortunately, the allocation of guests to the drivers does not work so well. Depending on which driver you catch (Alex was great) you will be compensated. We did 2 drives and saw all the Big 5 and many other animals.

The pools are good for relaxing, the loungers comfortable, the staff there also very attentive.

The Kruger Gate Hotel is highly recommended.

From check in to check out everything is superb. I had a great room, super fresh and clean and quiet. Food is great and so is everyone working there. So many nice and friendly people and can’t remember the names of all but a special shoutout to Charity and Monica that took special care of me😍
Pool area gorgeous, very close to the park and animals passing by or coming close almost daily.
Spa is great and really recommend it!
If you’re even considering this place don’t think just book!

Vimos macacos, babuínos, cobras e impalas dentro do hotel. Foi uma ótima experiência.

This is a well run property on the edge of the Kruger National Park.
Design and layout gives a 'Safari' feel to a hotel that provides an international standard of accommodation and cuisine.
Excellent, friendly and helpful staff.
Large deck with pool and views across Sabie River to the banks of the Kruger Park.

Loved the Luxury room. Spent a day in a deluxe family room which wasn’t so nice and the toilet would need multiple flushes when used, so was pleased that I had arranged for the rest of my stay in a luxury room. The only thing about the luxury room I didn’t like was that the “balconies” are not enclosed - they just open into some dense bush, which felt unsafe, so I never felt inspired to use it. The gym was great, it had enough space and equipment to get a good workout in. As a foodie, I LOVED LOVED LOVED the breakfast and especially Boma buffet dinners - EXCELLENT. Highlight - always had a different pudding with custard in the dessert room. Never stop that. The variety and range of food was amazing and for someone like me who likes to eat on the healthier side, I felt seen and fully supported. The infinity pool and the lookout huts overlooking the watering hole at the entrance to Kruger Park were lovely. Had a private catered dinner in one of the huts for my birthday, which was very special, although, to be honest, everything was so good with regular dining, it would have been just as fine eating the buffet food in the private hut. All that said, the experience was very nice and the staff were particularly attentive, even arriving en masse with a birthday cake and singing to me. Memories I’ll cherish forever. When I did a private sunrise safari, the hotel provided packed lunches, which were full of various things that were interesting and some of which I liked trying. That was how I got introduced to biltong. It is ideally located at the entrance to Paul Kruger Gate and on my one and only half-day private sunset safari (with a separate company), I got to see the Big Five. I would most definitely love to visit again.

12/10 Sternen!

Fabulous selection for breakfast and dinner. Great packed breakfast for early morning safari. Rooms cool, clean and very comfortable. Pool area with infinity deck was a real treat.
Safari guide, Justice, was absolutely amazing - very knowledgable and great at spotting wildlife. All staff in the hotel were super friendly and welcoming.
